... would like to wish my sister a happy belated birthday! You are going to die when you see your gift!

... am looking forward to her pool party tomorrow! Which bikini to wear?

... just went shopping! Aldo and YDE are my guilty pleasures.

... am in the best mood ever because of my 'little' retail therapy session.

... have one week left to get in shape. Major photo shoot happening, as you know, and I can't look kak.

... wouldn't have had to worry about crash diets if I just went to gym everyday and weren't so addicted to bread and cheese! Anybody else share my problem?

... have a dinner-date with my bff tonight. Wonder where she's taking me.

It's Friday and I...

... am really looking forward to tomorrow's J&B Met.
... am going to do it in VIP style. I can't wait to dress up!
... will definitely take photos and a video clip to show you.
... am so stiff from all yesterday's activities at our teambuilding.
... can't wait for our mani and pedi night with the girls. Much needed and long overdue!
... am super busy arranging two baby showers! I've always promised them kick-ass baby showers. I just didn't know they'll fall pregnant at the same time!
... have already started my 25th birthday party arrangements. It will be a joint party with one of my best friends and the theme is diamonds and denim. And everyone is invited!
... went on a crap cabbage soup diet this week! All that effort and I only lost 1kg. Not cool.
... will rather exercise 4 hours everyday instead of watching what I eat. I love food too much!
... am really happy and relieved that Nelson Mandela has been discharged from Milpark Hospital. He is receiving home-based care and doing fine.

A Mid-Week All White Party!

Dressing like a virgin really isn't my forte, but standing out in a crowd is. We were glowing with our all white attire and luminous accessories at a recent party my sister and I attended. It really is so hard to hold back on the drinking and partying in the middle of the week, especially because the 'big move' was taking place that following day. Our so-called solution? "Let's go without sleep and just go big tonight. If we're going to be hungover, let's at least make it worth it". Clever, really really clever. Point and case here is, we had a blast and definitely created a stir. We came home with no accessories, Poncho stains, a bruise and very little memory of it all.

Thank goodness for evidence  blackmail material  photos to refresh our memory.

Happy 21st birthday, Demi - it's her birthday today! Have a fabulous day and year ahead! Please don't take me partying with you tonight. I don't think I'll survive another drunk night or hangover at work. Then again, it is Tequila Tuesday. Oh boy, rubber arm!

Birthday Celebration - here's what I did!

Turning 24 was not something I looked forward to, because it just sounded so 'old'. But now that I'm here, it's actually not so bad, in fact, it's pretty much the same as last week!

When I received gifts at 06h00 on Friday morning, I knew it was going to be a great day. The boyfriend spoilt me with gladiator shoes and a huge black handbag, both from Aldo. I also got a bottle of D&G The One fragrance - my absolute favourite! I still had to go work, but luckily only half day, then it was off to the Maze Restaurant at The One & Only. What an experience that was! I thought it was going to be just another fancy and overpriced place, but they totally lived up to the hype and all my expectations! I had the best 3-course meal I've ever had and, coming from me, that means a lot! I was more than impressed, so they can expect another visit from me real soon. Look at the pretty cupcakes they sent me; how did they know about my 'little' guilty-pleasure?

Afterwards I met up with friends for cocktails which turned into an unplanned party! You only get to celebrate a birthday once a year, so I had to make it count - that was my excuse for not going home when I knew my Saturday was going to be busy and long. Saturday the celebration continued with friends and family, and again, we went out partying afterwards. And there I was thinking I'm getting too old to party two nights in a row! Though, Sunday I paid the consequences, but it was totally worth it. I finished the birthday weekend off with a huge Sunday lunch at Cattle Baron and a big dessert!

Thanks to everyone who made my birthday weekend so much fun and special. I absolutely loved every single gift I got!
