Ok Girls. Your Turn.

Yesterday I posted something sexy for the male readers and I feel it's only fair that I do it for the female readers too, seeing that you are in the majority.

I wasn't sure what to put here. Maybe a hot pair of Dior heels?

Or maybe even a cute furry baby animal? We like stuff like this, right?

But then I thought, no, we want flesh too. Rock-hard, ripped six-packs.

And we want Beckham to bend us wanna bend it like Beckham, right?

Let's not forget about my arm fetish. Yummy.

Is a body like cement really too much to ask?

But I guess the ultimate must be men in uniform.

Are we happy, girls?

It's Friday and I...

... am really looking forward to tomorrow's J&B Met.
... am going to do it in VIP style. I can't wait to dress up!
... will definitely take photos and a video clip to show you.
... am so stiff from all yesterday's activities at our teambuilding.
... can't wait for our mani and pedi night with the girls. Much needed and long overdue!
... am super busy arranging two baby showers! I've always promised them kick-ass baby showers. I just didn't know they'll fall pregnant at the same time!
... have already started my 25th birthday party arrangements. It will be a joint party with one of my best friends and the theme is diamonds and denim. And everyone is invited!
... went on a crap cabbage soup diet this week! All that effort and I only lost 1kg. Not cool.
... will rather exercise 4 hours everyday instead of watching what I eat. I love food too much!
... am really happy and relieved that Nelson Mandela has been discharged from Milpark Hospital. He is receiving home-based care and doing fine.

Happy Friday everyone! Anyone else going to the Met?

Weekend Madness!

What started out to be a "manicure and pedicure evening" on Friday, turned into a complete wild party. So, two of my best friends came over to my place and we did our nails, caught up on the latest while drinking wine and listening to all our favourite music. To me, wine plus great music, equals party vibe. Even though we decided beforehand that we're not going out, it was this equation that led us to our favourite party spot. Oh boy, how I wish I can just say no at times. We decided that we're not dressing up or going to do effort with hair and make-up. We went out just the way we looked. Flat shoes and pony-tails. Then, as luck would have it, we bumped into so many familiar faces and friends. No matter how shit and ordinary we looked, we got more free drinks that night, than at any other party before! None of us spent a dime. In fact, I came home with R100 extra! We danced up a storm, mingled, had a few shooters and decided, we're going to go crash a house party in Loevenstein. Technically speaking, I was invited, but, at the time, decided that a quiet evening at home would be the more responsible option. You know, seeing that I had a breakfast date at the Mount Nelson Hotel early Saturday morning.
We got to the house party and immediately hit the dance floor. When I saw KFM DJ, Denver Apollus, in charge of the music, I knew that the majority of my evening would be spent dancing. Again, bumped into many friends and even the ex boyfriend *dramatic music plays*. Two of my gal pals left early(ish), which kinda left me and my other friend stranded. No car and no house keys. When the party was finally over and I walked outside for the first time, the sun was shining! I was like, oh gawd, please tell me it's 05h00. Unfortunately not. I had one hour to find a way home, freshen up and get my ass to the hotel. Yeah, so that didn't exactly work out according to plan. Seeing that my friend and I both locked ourselves out of our houses, we had no way of getting dressed OR had access to my car. Needless to say, I had to skip the birthday breakfast (yes, I'm a shit friend and I feel even shittier) because I still had to go to the boyfriend who, apparently, had a surprise planned for me. I felt like death warmed up, no matter how many energy drinks I downed.
The boyfriend and I went out for drinks and, even though I swore to never touch alcohol again, I had a Hunters Extreme in the hope of feeling better. That didn't work. Food is what my body needed. Next stop was a vineyard. You'd think this is the last place I'd want to be, but all I wanted was to sit down and eat something healthy. A glass of dry white wine and a chicken and litchi salad later, I felt a little better, but still not capable of making small-talk. My energy was mainly used for keeping my eyes open. After that, we met up with friends again because everyone felt like going out and dancing. Me? I would swop my car for a few hours' sleep! But, not wanting to be the party-pooper or miss out on anything, I went along. After a few more drinks and the right song, I suddenly felt ready for a party all over again. We went out dancing and got home 'round 02h30. Now, it's been over 24 hours since I last slept, so I just couldn't wait to get home! The surprise my boyfriend had planned, was that we were gonna see 30 Seconds to Mars perform in Cape Town, then sleep at a hotel. Yeah, so that didn't work out either. Again. So I don't know if I should be cross with myself for going way too big Friday night or pissed off with him for not taking me anyway. Tired or hungover! I mean, I was dragged along to go dancing!

Sunday I felt like a human-being again! We went to Paarl for a late lunch and, for the first time that weekend, I ate proper food! Man, steak and veggies never tasted so good before. Oh, naturally, I had wine.

I'm glad this weekend is over, but I'm not happy to be at work today! I'd much rather sleep some more or soak up the sun. Heck, I'd rather do dishes than sit here!

Happy Monday folks!
This week I will detox, exercise and take it easy, because this coming weekend is going to be a hectic one!

It's Friday and I...

... absolutely cannot wait for my best friend's Sailor-themed birthday party. This is my outfit.
... am hitting the gym really hard to be able to pull it off!
... received photos from the photographer who did a 'mini shoot' at the Woelag interview. Watch this space for uploads.
... will be paying some attention to our blog today. The logo is being designed as we speak.
... am being whisked away for a romantic weekend. I wonder what the boyfriend planned. Oooh!
... am very excited about our Beer Fest Competition! Have you sent me your entries yet? No? Click here to see how you can win a party with my sister and I at Cape Town Festival of Beer.
... am building quite a collection of YDE dresses! I just can't leave that shop empty-handed.
... am meeting up with all my gal pals tomorrow at the Mount Nelson Hotel for a champagne breakfast.
... really can't wait to see the music video for Dinosaur. Any day now!
... am counting down the minutes to the big move. Yes, yes, I will be driving you crazy with all my house-moving-talk.
... don't wanna work today (or ever, really)!
... couldn't care less about the royal engagement. Pfft.
... have started with my Christmas shopping. It is my favourite time of the year.
... will be on leave in less than a month. Bring on the holiday and relaxation!
... love my dark hair, but I'm over the fringe. Even though it looks cool, it's so unpractical on hot days.
... am just going to take it easy this weekend, because next weekend I have to squeeze in four events in three days PLUS packing. I'm going to need loads of energy drinks or super powers.

Happy Friday everyone!

Wild girls on the loose!

This weekend I had a blast! It's like, every weekend I try to top the previous one. Well, mission accomplished! I don't think there's going to be a Motivation for Monday post, because today I don't have any. Wait, there is and it's called coffee.

I get so many requests from readers to share my party pics, so, here goes.

Friday I grabbed a few girlfriends and went out. I even bumped into fellow blogger Heidi (Farm Girl) and the lovely Eloise Dreyer. I took them to China White where DJ Lady Lea was playing. We had the time of our lives!

My outfit. I love this denim top from WWW at Foschini

I've known these people since school! Great friends!

Ladies, he is single!

Showing off our (matching) nail polish from essie.

Pictured here with Eloise (left) and Heidi (middle)

Always with drink in hand. Always on the dance floor.

With my bestie, Esme
Saturday I spent the day recovering and assisting my friend and sister with a photo shoot. The only thing I was good at, was helping the model with posing. My sister is building up a portfolio for her stylist-in-the-making project and is giving all her friends free make-overs. Have a look...

This is the before photo...

And the after! What an improvement!

Sunday, a day I promised to use for relaxation purposes only (but what are rules if not for breaking, right?), I went to a Women's Day event with all my girlfriends. Uhm, girls that are friends, just to clarify. When I stepped foot inside the club, I was given a glass of champagne and a goodie bag, I knew things were gonna be good. Free access to tarot card readers and make-up artists, sexy promo girls walking around, HOT men parading around in their Jockeys and they are covered in oil. The men, that is. Yup, that was definitely my new favourite thing to do on a Sunday. AND, as if my day wasn't going great already, I won a pink vibrator in a lucky draw! It's still in its packaging, just so you know. Here are more pics of all the wild girls on the loose!

Looking a little fragile...

Uhm, well, yummy!

It was no coincidence that I received the devil-horns while everyone else got bunny-ears...

Four shooters for the ladies, please

Cherries - my drinks are nothing without it

Uh oh! When those horns are glowing... that's when you know!

So that was my weekend for you! Wild. Hectic. Fun.

Girls just wanna have FUN!

Yesterday I felt a bit fragile because of the hectic weekend, but it was all in good fun. Girls really just want to have fun. And loads of it too! Here are some pics of the hectic party chaos drunken night innocent fun we had weekend. Enjoy!
Just warming up!

Trying hard to concentrate on the rules of the drinking game

My fellow-fabulous-females!

Dra-ma-tic!

That night we told everyone we're twins. Some people are just so gullible :)

Single and ready to mingle!

Oh, what's going on here?

Dancin' like nobody's watchin'

I can't tell if this is beat or sparks...

Fun times!

I think the music's to blame

Having a serious moment here...
We've got another serious 4-day girls weekend coming up! Darlings, do yourself a favour and just pack the car and go on a road trip. A trip to nowhere. Turn the music up and sing along to the top of your lungs. Listen to Miley Cyrus. Record video clips of your singing. Leave the GHD's at home and pack in drinking games. Explore all the pubs. Try new shooters or cocktails. Make new friends and exchange numbers. Go without sleep and eat junk food. Forget about what your mama told you and rather embrace what your mama gave you. But most importantly, take loads of photos! It's such fun and a genuine bonding experience!

Things every girl SHOULD invest in!

Here are some fashionable and girly things, I believe, every girl should have. Yes, you are allowed to call them 'investments'.

You should definitely make sure you have that sexy little black dress in your wardrobe for a special occasion or for that date.

Invest in a proper handbag. Maybe not Louis Vuitton but a fashionable handbag that will last you a lifetime! Remember, we carry our lives in them, so get something that reflects who you are.

Every girl should have a really sexy bikini that's unpractical and not made for swimming or water sports. At all. Yes, the bikini that you wear to Clifton or Malibu only.

BOOTS! It could get pricy, but leather boots really last and the longer you wear it, the more character it gets.

Every girl should definitely invest in a proper nail polish (essie is a great choice) in a daring colour!

Oversized earrings make such a statement and it glams up any outfit! Oversized-anything is good, actually!

I'll admit, perfume is something I'm really stingy to spend money on, but I believe that every girl should have a bottle of expensive perfume. Don't wear it every day. Only wear it on really special occasions. Your smell says a lot about you and something that will always be associated with you.
Why not go the girly route and own a pink gadget? I have a pink flash drive, a pink iPod and a pink camera, and I love it! Even my laptop has got pink prints on it.
I know a girl can never have enough shoes (and I will always encourage this), but invest in, at least, one pair of great heels. Believe me, the feeling of wearing designer heels that had cost you a small fortune, just gives you such an amazing feeling. In those shoes, you will conquer the world. And remember, the uncomfortable ones are usually the ones that make the statement. So we all suffer for beauty.

I don't think I need to elaborate, but yes, sexy lingerie is essential.

Sunglasses, an absolute must-have, but not just any! It really is worth it to spend money on decent shades, because, after all, this is one accessory that actually serves a purpose! I've just started with my collection.

Last, but not least, get some sailor-inspired fashion items. It's going to be big this summer! Think red, navy, white, stripes, anchors or even a Captain's hat!

What other things can you add to this list, girls?
